• Question: What would happen if we ran out of fresh water.

      If we ran out of fresh water then we would probably have to take sea water & desalinate it (take the salt out of it). This is costly so hopefully we won’t run out of fresh water.

      Ann, gave a great answer to this. Desalinisation of water is already used in Saudi Arabia and Singapore. I think another thing that would happen if we ran out of water, is that people all over the world would start to argue about how gets to use whatever water is left. Maybe people will also try to create water, by burning hydrogen… but this could be very expensive and require lots of energy.
