        I’m the only one who works on my particular project, but there are 3 other students who work in the same research group, There’s also a big group of other students who are studying science so we there’s always someone to talk to

        I work with one of research who does very similar work that I do. And there are 6 PhDs in total in our group all working on different diseases: osteoporosis, diabetes and cardiovascular disease

        It depends on what you are doing, most of our projects would involve a team of researchers and students working on different aspects of a particular research questions.

        I work in a group for some of my work, and on my own for some other projects. So its a bit of a mixture but even when you don’t work directly with people, you still get to know the, and people are really good and meeting up and doing fun things outside of work together. A big research group of ours went to a place called the adventure rooms in Dublin. You get locked into a room, and then you have to use the clues in the room to figure your way out. One of the clues was a remote controlled car that we had to use to knock a fluffy penguin over, to find a key. Even better, we were split into 2 groups and racing each other. It was the best fun ever.
