My Typical Day
Checking results from yesterday’s experiments, figuring out why the experiment didn’t work, reading, writing.

What I'd do with the prize money
I would start a competition aimed at students who want to compete in the BT Young Scientist or SciFest competitions.

What did you want to be after you left school?
I didn’t really have a plan. I liked studying science so I decided to just keep doing it

What's your favourite food?
Enchiladas. I could eat them all day, every day
What is the most fun thing you've done?
Travelling around Europe for two weeks during the summer

This is the HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography) that use to detect vitamins in milk. She looks old, but she’s reliable
That’s a GC (Gas Chromatography). It’s basically a big oven with a flame on the end that detects fatty acids in milk as they pass through the flame.
