        I’m the only actual lab scientist. My granny and grandad were both pharmacists, my aunt and uncle are both vets, I’ve aunties on both sides that are nurses and I’ve a cousin who is an anaesthesiologist. But so a lot of us are in the health science area, but I’m the only one who wears a lab coat.

      My sister is a medical physicist; they work out the physics planning behind how people receive a radiotherapy treatment in a safe manner, so that the patient gets the right dose to exactly the right place where the tumour is.
      My mum and alot of her family were nurses. So there’s some history of medical talk in the family. Some of my dad’s side of the family are cartographers. The rest of the family are either teachers or artists!
