      I love Chemistry, so that’s when I’m at my happiest! Other than that, I really like to know more about space, and the types of other planets that are out there. I read recently that there’s a planet that could be made entirely of diamonds and another one where it rains glass!!

      And we thought the weather has been bad in Ireland over the last few days 🙂

      I love SciComms (or Science Communication). It’s something that really gets me excited. I’m a scientist is SciComms. But it’s also giving talks in schools, or making videos to explain my research or getting involved in twitter discussions on why genetically modified crops (GM) are a necessity! So I like to talk my love of science outside of the lab and try to spread it around 🙂

      I enjoyed doing research in population genetics and ecology for my PhD. It would be very interesting to learn bioinformatics and work on developing computer programs to help get the most from genomic data. Then again neuroscience would be fascinating too!
