Zoology is actually quite a general course, we learned about the diversity in the animal kingdom, animal physiology, systems, body plans, animal behaviour, ecology, immunology, genetics, biochemistry and we did some fieldwork, we had to make an insect collection at one point, also got to do dissections of lovely things like worms, pigeons, dogfish. The dogfish was a particular favourite since the experiment lasted for 3 weeks and you had to use the same dogfish every week to look at a different body system. Needless to say it was a touch niffy by the end.
