        When I worked over in the US, our entire lab dressed up as characters from Super Mario Brothers (I was Luigi), and then we had a Supermario Kart race down a corridor, with me sitting on Yoshi!! (My housemate, giving me a piggyback). We even had someone dressed up as one of the cubes who bumped into everyone and knocked us off the track. It was great fun, and very very very silly!

        Emma I need to see a video of this!!!

        I was in the lab on Halloween and was very upset that nobody was dressed up and I’d an hour until my next sample was being taken… So I used lab bits and pieces to create a halloween outfit. I made a beautiful dress out of black bin bags, a long braided wig out of toilet paper, boxes were turned into shoulder pads, face masks were coloured and turned into fashion! … We don’t get out much :/

        Leaving my car on neutral gear on a slight downhill road, and handbrake was not fully on….

        To continue the Halloween trend, one year I dressed up as Dr.Zoidberg from Futurama (any costume that involves wearing a lab coat is always easy for scientists).I painted myself pink, stuck a pink rubber glove on top of my head and under my nose, and spent the whole night walking like a crab talking like Zoidberg!

        Definitely one of my more successful Halloween costumes 🙂
