I always liked studying science in school so when it was time to go to college, I picked a science degree. I found I really enjoyed studying chemistry so I just kept at it, and I’m still learning new things every day! So I guess my advice would be not to worry about what job you will end up with, just keep studying whatever is you enjoy most.
Its a fascinating topic, and it appealed to me to learn more and delve deeper . I decided to go for a Science Degree instead of something more specialised such as biotechnology, or analytical science because it was very broad, in that you study maths, physics, chemistry and biology in first year and only gradually follow your interests towards specialisation in third year.

Wow everyone gave such good answers and I was gonna say for the white coat :/ I also wasn’t cut out for humanities they have to hand write a lot in college and I can’t do that! I learned that the hard way for history in the LC… You want me to write how many essays? :/
I enjoyed Science at school (among other subjects), and I was always fascinated by genetics as I am a twin. So I ended up choosing that as my degree and I just sort of fell into this field from there!
