That I get to talk to so many students and other scientists. I have learned so much from you all asking such amazing questions and from the answers my fellow scientists give. It is also nice to have something to look forward to everyday and it helps keep my mind off of missing my family! So thank you for taking part and asking such brilliant questions!

It is accessible to a larger number of students as there are more number of scientists helping out. It helps students to remain engaged in science even when schools aren’t physically open.

I love getting to talk to all of the students and see what sort of interests you all have in science.
I didn’t like science when I was at school so I’m really passionate about sharing my experience of being a scientist to try and encourage young people to consider science as a possible career, or even just an interest! Science is part of everything we do in everyday life and more! We should all question it and celebrate it 🙂 -

My favorite thing is the questions from students like you on this forum and in the live chats. I’m learning a lot here like “how flies walk on ceilings” to “why the sky is blue”. As a scientist you never stop learning, from other people and the world around you which I think is what makes it so exciting. It’s good to keep asking questions (even if you think they might sound silly) and finding answers because that’s how you grow and learn and become a better scientist 🤓

I really enjoy answering your questions on “I’m a scientist stay at home” as it gives me a break from the intensity of work!!! I am very busy at work as I am involved in three space projects!!!! I have lots of maths models to make and documentation to be completed to meet my deadlines!!!! 🚀
