  The lasers I use are about 1.5m long and 0.5m wide so pretty big! The laser can fire a pulse of light with enough power to cut metal that lasts only 0.000000014 seconds long

I wanted to add another comment, this evening I was working with a friend who is an engineer and has has a tiny laser that is nearly as powerful it is about as big as three laptops staked on top of eachother
