      The light bulb brightness is measured in Lumens, but there is a relation between the energy consumed in Watts to the Lumens generated.

      A 100 Watts incandescent bulb creates about 1600 lumens.
      A 40 Watts incandescent bulb creates about 450 lumens.
      A 20 Watts LED bulb creates 1600 lumens
      A 9Watt LED bulb creates 450 lumens

      That is why is a good idea to use LEDs, they are more efficient.
