Great question. The sun has UV radiation that can damage the eye. If your eye is exposed to UV radiation it can causes changes in many of the layers in the eye. It can cause damage to the lens in the eye and you are more likely to get a cataract or at the back of the eye it can cause damage which can harm your central vision. So remember to put on your sunnies!!
