If you look up at the sky on a clear night, far from pollution and city lights, you would be able to see 2,000 to 3,000 stars. Using telescopes, astronomers have learned that the Sun is one of more than 100 billion (100,000,000,000) stars in our galaxy, the Milky Way. And they have found hundreds of billions of galaxies, each made up of billions of stars.
