      Hi Ciaran,

      If governments get their act in gear, then we will be able to ensure that everyone will have access to clean water.
      The materials that can do this using sunlight are cheap, easily available and easy to work with so we can, in principle, do small scale depollution and cleaning – for example in a bucket of water.

      To do a village or city needs some investment, but that is an upfront one-time investment, mainly in the materials. After that sunlight does the rest.

      It just needs those who make the high level political decisions to have some vision, the scientists are ready to provide the know-how.
