Hey,
I go to north west Mayo (around Belmullet) for holidays with my family every summer. We always rent the same house which is on an island that you have to drive across a beach to get to; so sometimes that means getting cut off at high tide! We mainly do watersports there; sailing, windsurfing and body surfing but it’s also a beautiful place for hill walking and has some stunning coastal scenery. The weather isn’t always what you’d choose for “summer” holidays though…
Apart from that I get to travel quite a lot for my work so usually that involves tagging on some sort of holiday as well. This year I’ve been to London, Washington DC, New York, Boston, Lisbon and Chicago so plenty of lovely holiday activities in all of those places!

Hi…
with 3 small kids holidays need to be not so expensive and easy to travel. Last two years we have done Achill Island for a week, which they love as there is so much to do, and then a few days near Lough Corrib in a family holiday house. Just as nice as going abroad, as long as the weather is good.
In the carefree days, any of the world’s big cities: Paris, New York, London, Berlin
