An alloy is two or more metals in a common atomic structure. given the properties of magnetic materials alloys of iron, nickel, cobalt will be attractive, at least in principle.

Alloy a rare earth metal like neodynium with iron and it should be a better magnet, but not cheap.

Putting iron into titanium dioxide can make the non-magnetic titanium dioxide magnetic, at least at low temperatures (going to high in temperature kills the magnetism)

      hope this helps
