Hey Róisín! Yes, I’ve always loved science and knew it was the route I wanted to go in college. I was very lucky in that sense. I did Biology and Chemistry for the leaving cert, and just knew that I found Biology made a lot of sense and while I found Chemistry difficult, I still enjoyed the problem solving involved in it. Science is also so broad that even if you’re not sure if it’s for you, there’s loads of options within the course to find something right for you.
Yes! I enjoyed science classes specially in the laboratory, where I was fascinated by observing the color change of a solution from transparent to pink or turbid, or how bacteria grew on a plate left overnight.
The best aspect about science is that it offers a wide range of opportunity to play with, which one can find along the way!!

Not really!
I always wanted to escape from science.
But gradually I noticed the beauty behind it.
