For my dissertation, I plan to do a few experiments over the course of the next two years. So currently, I am running an experiment with healthy people, and l plan to finish it by the end of this year. Next, there will be a simulation part (a few months, no people involved, just data). And then finally I will record data from injured people, that could take up to 9 months. Then a few months more to process all the data, and I guess I’ll be done:) Quite a bit of work ahead…
In research, a lot of the time research is never fully done!
You can finish your one question of interest (as Liudmila has said with her dissertation, and like I did with my dissertation), but usually once they are finished there is some questions that come from this discovery.
That’s the idea in a lot of science, is to continue exploring!
