This is because they contain lots of vitamins such as vitamin A, E and C and other nutrients like iron and zinc. These are really important to help your body function. These foods have high concentrations of them which is really good for us.
I don’t beleive in super foods. I think there are healthy and unhealthy foods. Green foods are very healthy but not because they are green, they are healthy because most of them have a lot of vitamins and minerals we need to be healthy. The green veggies are green because the have chlorophyll, that it is a green substance that all plants have. But not all the green foods are super healthy!
There is NO food that can be called Super food…Marketing has created those foods but it is wrong to call them super foods.
The best foods are not green at all, i.e. fish, sea food, hard cheese!
