      thanks for the thoughtful question.

      Yes it can definitely affect out future.
      I am dealing with water pollution so you can imagine if the water that is consumed is polluted, then it pose health risks to animals as well as human beings.

      But Pollution in environment is not the same. Although all pollution are bad but there is difference between water pollution with air pollution with sound pollution.

      What is best to do is to 1-prevent the pollution and 2- clean it asap .
