• Question: Could we use osmosis to filter sea water and plants tons of trees in the desert and slow down global warming.

      It would be great if we could do that. The problem is that we need more energy to get that osmosis filtered water, and energy means generating more pollution and global warming. Think also about how you have to transport that or the energy of the osmosis equipment, the pumps you need to bring the sea water…It is a good idea, but there are a lot of things to think about and that is why it is not a good option to do that. It won’t be efficient (that is the word).
