I never had food poisoning with the food I have worked with, we keep high hygiene standards and we have safety protocols.
I had a couple of injuries while working. Once a back pain after moving boxes in a freezer. And other time a cable of a machine malfunctioned and the socket kind of exploded and burnt. Nothing serious happened to me, justa few burnt hairs and the shock. Now that I remember I also had a small burnt in my skin because of a chemical, it burnt the glove and then my skin a bit.
But that’s all I remember, so not many things. If you follow the safety procedures and always paying attention it is a quite safe job.
