      Hi!

      We sometimes work with chemicals etc. and we wear goggles in case we have an accident or we drop a chemical and it falls and splashes. The science googles have a plastic/glass front so if a chemical splashed it would hit the front of the goggles and not our eyes as depending on the chemical they might burn our eyes or the sensitive skin around our eyes.

    Exactly! Goggles are very important for the scientists who work in chmistry labs or dangerous substances. The eyes are very sensitive and some chemicals can be very dangerous so goggles protects from splashes or any other thing that could go wrong when working: trippring when carrying a chemical solution, unexpected break of the glass, etc
