      These neutralise the acids in your stomach so that it doesn’t irritate your stomach lining.

      They release chemicals into our stomach that help us digesting food. Usually they are bases – chemically. They alter the pH in our stomach.

      Our stomach have some acids to digest the food, but sometimes these acids irritate the stomach. These tablets get dissolved in the stomach and release some substances that make it less acid.
