It depends on the chocolate type. If it has sugar in it and/or other ingredients you shouldn’t eat it daily. If it is dark chocolate 70% or more an square would be fine.
Chocolate is not really a healthy food and should be had only on occasion.. but dark chocolate can be as Gonzalo has said.. this is because it contains healthy compounds such as flavonoids, polyphenols and flavanols. 1-2 squares a day are okay. 🙂
Like the guys have said chocolate is a treat and therefore we should not have chocolate every day, if we look at the food pyramid chocolate, sweets and crisps are all in the top shelf which means we should not have them everyday.
