This is what I am trying to figure out, we have a hormone called insulin in our bodies which helps clear the sugar from our blood and bring it to our cells where we use it for energy (or store it for energy later) but if we have type 2 diabetes then we either don’t have enough insulin or it can’t work as well as it should. The milk protein we are studying might help us make more insulin or help it to work properly in our bodies.
