Carrots contain beta-carotene which the body uses to make vitamin A.. Vitamin A protects the cornea of our eyes-this is what we look out of so yes carrots are good for your eyes!
Yes this is true as the other scientists here have said carrots contain beta-carotene which is made into vitamin A. Not having enough vitamin A can be bad for our eyes. Other good sources of beta-carotene are salmon and green leafy vegetables.
As my colleagues have said carrots contain beta carotene that turns into vitamin A, needed for a good sight. Carrots also contain lutein, this is a substance that protects the retina of the eye from some diseases that might happen when you get older.
