Vitamin D is an important vitamin which helps us to absorb Calcium which we find in milk and cheese, calcium is really important to help us build strong bones therefore Vitamin D helps to prevent diseases linked to bone health like Rickets. Vitamin D3 is a form of vitamin D produced by our skin when we get enough sunlight – that’s why Vitamin D is also called the sunshine vitamin.
