The healthiest diet is a balanced one.. where we are getting lots of fruit and veg, some carbohydrates, proteins and healthy fats and also including some sweet treats on occasion because they are nice to have also. 🙂
There is no unique healthiest. I disagree with Ciara about the balanced diet, a balanced diet will not always be a healthy one. Because balanced diets only check how much protein, fats and carbohydrates have you eaten, but they don’t check where this came from. And this is the important key for e healthy diet. It is not the same eating a fruit that has sugar, that the same qunatity of sugar in a fizzy drink, it is not the same eating a fast food burger than eating an steak.
If you eat healthy food you will have a healthy diet. Mediterranean diet is very healthy as well as some vegetarian diets are very healthy. As long as the diet has plenty of vegs and fruits it would probably be a healthy diet.
