Hmm unfortunately I am not sure I am far enough into my career yet to say that I have invented something useful. I have however made some discoveries about how the types of bacteria in our gut are changed in response to different factors such as travel.. I hope this has been useful especially to the people who I studied as I was able to give them recommendations to help them in the future when they travel so they do not get sick.

I did an experiment in my PhD with humans, they ate three different meat products, one normal fat, one low fat, and one low fat with helathier oils. I found that the low fat were a bit healthier than the normal fat, but not as much as we thought.

I haven’t invented anything yet but the protein I have been studying will hopefully be made into a food product we can buy in the shop which would be really cool.
