      Hi Pheonix,
      many thanks for your interesting question.
      The good thing about science is that once you want to develop something “scientific” in a specific field , you can do it anywhere . But the results (we can call it interpretation) can be generated to other areas of the world.
      Farming is now a big issue in the WORLD. Ireland has lots of farming activities as you know. So if scientists want to find a solution to make farming sustainable worldwide, they should first start with an area which is active in farming. That is how I ended up in Ireland 🙂

      Irish farming regulations are developing more sustainable green pasture but there is a long way to achieve it completely (similar to everywhere in the world) .
