Question: Your name doesn't sound Irish, if you're not from Ireland how would does dairy farming in Ireland compare to your country. Do you think our green pasture's are more sustainable ☺
Hi Pheonix,
many thanks for your interesting question.
The good thing about science is that once you want to develop something “scientific” in a specific field , you can do it anywhere . But the results (we can call it interpretation) can be generated to other areas of the world.
Farming is now a big issue in the WORLD. Ireland has lots of farming activities as you know. So if scientists want to find a solution to make farming sustainable worldwide, they should first start with an area which is active in farming. That is how I ended up in Ireland 🙂
Irish farming regulations are developing more sustainable green pasture but there is a long way to achieve it completely (similar to everywhere in the world) .
