About Me

I am originally from South Africa. I came to Ireland with my husband to do my PhD studies. I love science but I also love the sea, writing and I am a huge Rick & Morty fan.

My Typical Day

I usually wake up at 6 am to have some quite time before a busy day ahead, to exercise and to get ready. I get to my desk at 8 am where I run calculations on a supercomputer. To take a break from the computer, I try to go for a walk outside with my colleagues and then I get back to the computer lab to check my calculations and emails. I go home at 5 pm.
